"Valuing Learning: Fulfilling Potential"

"Some aspects of curriculum are highly innovative. The curriculum also relates particularly well to the interests and aptitudes of pupils in Key Stage 4. The organisation of the Key Stage 4 curriculum is unusually flexible."
Ofsted 2006

Striving for Excellence!
This school is such a vibrant community. At all times there is so much going on. It's hard to see how the students manage to cram so much into the school day and beyond! We also work in partnership with colleges and further education to ensure the the thirst for education and learning continues after 16 and progression is evident.

Thinking outside the box!
At Cromer High School we endeavor to ensure that our students can develop existing talents and discover new ones. Through curriculum lessons and the vast range of extra curricular activities on offer we encourage our students to strive for excellence. We also look to give the students responsibility through the School Council and House System. With our excellent facilities we are able to offer students every opportunity to get the very best from their High School education.

The Headteacher

From the Headteacher:
Welcome to the Cromer High School website and thank you for your interest. I hope you enjoy our website finding it existing and full of useful information about our school. I believe this school has a good balance between tradition and innovation and provides a welcoming, secure environment for both students and staff. We have a house system which allows our students to have a real sense of belonging and a pastoral system linked to it that has been highlighted in the 2006 OFSTED report as providing good advice and support. We always keep our school aim at the centre of all we do here, which is "valuing learning: fulfilling potential". Both the DCSF and OFSTED has complimented us on our clear commitment to raising standards and achievement and we will continue to ensure this school provides first class education opportunities for all its students. Over the past 6 years we have gone from strength to strength. We have not only met statutory targets but exceeded them. We have been through a successful OFSTED in 2006 and we were re-designated as a Language College for 4 more years in 2005. However, this doesn't make us complacent and we constantly strive to develop and improve all we do.
