Welcome to Cromer High School and thank you for your interest. Choosing the right high school is vital to the future of your child. Selecting the right educational environment for those key years between 11 and 16 is an all-important foundation with life-long consequences. We prepare our students for an evolving world and are proud of the curriculum we offer. We are totally committed to developing the whole person, through the wide range of opportunities and activities available to students.

Our belief is that Cromer High School is a learning centre for the whole community, young and old. The school has many opportunities for children, their parents and the wider community to access study support and extracurricular programmes through the Extended Schools Services Initiative. Healthy School, Sportsmark, Investor in People and Partnership Promotion awards in addition to our specialist designation as a Language College show how the school’s strengths are gaining recognition.

We recognise that starting high school or changing school can be daunting, and we do all that we can to make the transition as trouble free as possible. We have a carefully planned induction programme which starts in July, and we try to visit all of the schools in our cluster in the summer term to meet each of the Year 6 students before they start at Cromer High in September.

At Cromer High we expect students to work hard and be committed to learning. We also demand high standards of behaviour that allow effective learning and teaching to take place.
